Heath Safety and Environment Policy
1. To protect life and health, through safe practices and a safe working environment, including safe handling of hazardous material.
2. To protect the environment, prevent pollution, and dispose of waste properly.
3. To protect personnel, cargo, vessel and company through structured insurance cover.
4. To provide the best possible shore based support with regard to technical and nautical management, including administration, crewing, purchasing and accounting.
5. Management is committed to working with and supporting occupational health and safety committees both ashore and onboard.
6. To critically analyze factors necessary for sound operational procedures on ship and shore.
7. To identify and safeguard against risk and potential hazards, and to mitigate through provision of equipment, procedures, training, and continuous improvement of safety skills.
8. To meet or exceed the environmental standards as described in ISO 14001:2004
9. To uphold an accountability culture both onboard and ashore.
